Seventy Not Out
Vice Admiral Sir Timothy Laurence, a retired Royal Navy officer who became known around the world for his marriage to the Princess Royal, will be 70 on 1 March. Described as softly-spoken and reserved, he has proved to be a steadfast member of the royal family, ably supporting his wife at home and abroad while quietly taking on his own patronages and causes.
